K2BPrompt is a GeneXus pattern that allows the developer to generate prompts automatically. A prompt interface is an interface that allows the user to select an item from a collection of instances of a certain Entity. In some cases, the end user may find that the instance it is searching for has not been created yet; in those cases, the user may create it (depending on the pattern configuration).

In the Prompt Interface, all instances of the entity are shown, with the option to use filters to narrow the user's search. After finding the desired instance, the user must select it by clicking on the Description Attribute (ProductDescription, in the example above).
