Updating local K2BTools Licences to K2BTools 16

To update the licenses to K2BTools 16 please follow these steps.

Step 1: Uninstall previous licenses

  • Open the GeneXus IDE and navigate to the K2BTools menu.
  • Select K2BTools -> Uninstall Legacy Licenses.

  • A License Manager will open, displaying all K2BTools licenses.
  • Select the previously authorized license (e.g., K2BTools 15) and press Uninstall.

    Select to uninstall all copies

  • The License Manager will create a file in a directory specified in a message. Navigate to this file location.

    Ignore the messabe above, just read the location of the file to send it to claves@k2b.com

  • Send the .gxa file to claves@k2b.com

Troubleshouting: If you cannot find the uninstall file, please send the gxprot.log file located in the Windows directory to support@k2btools.com

Step 2: Request new licences

  • Go to the GeneXus IDE K2BTools menu and select K2BTools -> Authorize K2BTools.
